Hyderabad to Host Major Raksha Expo and Air Show in December

Hyderabad will host a major Raksha Expo from December 7 to 9 as part of the Telangana Global Summit 2026, Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju said.

An air show is also scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on December 9. The state government plans to invite leading national and international defence, aerospace and arms manufacturing companies to participate in the expo.

The event will provide opportunities for business interactions, buyer-seller meetings, marketing, memorandum of understanding signings, startup collaborations and seminars.

Officials have also been directed to encourage participation from defence industry bodies, public and private sector organisations and manufacturers. Promotional roadshows are planned in Hyderabad on October 24 and New Delhi on October 29.

The government said Hyderabad is a major defence and aerospace hub, with around 30 per cent of India's defence and aerospace industries based in the city.
